How do I find subscribers to my account and then transfer them over to a self-hosted WordPress site?

What are the best plugins to help assist with transferring a wordpress site from one server to another?

I actually prefer doing this manually:

  1. Go to WP-admin -> Settings -> General
  2. Change the WordPress and Site address to the new location (ignoring the error page you’ll get once changing this).
  3. Back up database
  4. Download all files
  5. Upload files to new server
  6. Upload the backed up database
  7. Check styles and other stuff to ensure that everything is displaying and linking to ok.
